LAST STOP DUBAI!

Messy Hair, Sandy feet and Happy Me!

One of the best times we had at any of our vacations was in Dubai! The city has its own charm. Talking about Dubai in today’s post cuz me and Anurag were celebrating our 3rd anniversary right in the middle of this beautiful Arabian desert same day last year šŸ˜Š That makes us 4 today! It was also the only unplanned trips we ever did. Lol. That’s definitely not us! Well it was followed by our India vacation so wouldn’t blame ourselves for not being prepared. I guess you’ll agree with me that when you’re in your home country you don’t wanna think about anything else šŸ˜Š

Coming back to Dubai. Dubai is HOT! I know-duh! But guess what, we got lucky as the weekend that we spent there was in the high-70’s and beautiful. I’ll tell you guys a little bit about how we spent our weekend over there. For our anniversary dinner, Anurag had booked a table at the top of Burj khalifa. It is the world’s tallest skyscrapers and looks so stunning especially when you’re standing in front of it. The fountains over there are made to impress. It looks impressive in photos, but once you see it in person, it will be a sight that will never be forgotten. Was surely a challenge to get it all in one photograph.

Next morning we took a day long trip to the desert Safari. Oh what fun it was! Sand in our feet and love in our hearts. Did I tell you guys that we get this ‘followmeto’ shot at every vacation that we take together. I will share more of these in some of the upcoming posts. Overall we had an amazing amazing time.

Midi’s and Maxi’s are on my mind lately. Be it skirts or dresses. I wore this floral maxi dress recently and couldn’t help but share with you guys how much I enjoyed wearing it the first time in Dubai. This ZARA button down floral maxi has a very soft fabric and is almost weightless which makes it so comfortable to carry. It is just so apt for one of those breezy days when you don’t wanna wear denim outfits and feel like creating a fun look. Knuckle rings with pearls made for a perfect match with this soft floral pattern. I wore nude makeup to keep it subtle and compliment with the tones of the outfit. Those leather ankle boots took this look to the next level.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are geared up for the most productive week ahead. At least Iā€™d like to think I am.
