45 Baby Registry Must Haves

I have curated a list of items that are essential for a baby right from birth till 1 year. I wanted to wait a few months before writing a blog on baby must haves. This isn’t a list I created based on the items that I have heard of or that look nice. We literally own and use every item on this list on an everyday basis! A lot of these registry must-haves can be found on Amazon. Give it a read and see what fits your needs. So here we go –

SLEEP

Da Vinci Kalani Crib : Whenever you plan to transfer your baby to the crib, you need this one. It comes in various colors and has really smooth edges. It is 4-in-1 so it can go from newborn-to-infant-to-toddler-to big kid age!

SwaddleMe Co-sleeper : I love having baby right next to me especially when he is a newborn. This co-sleeper makes sure that your baby is safe and gets a sound sleep.

Moonlight Slumber Crib Mattress : You need a good crib mattress. This one is extra firm on one side for the infant age and plush on the other side during the toddler age.

Cradle & Swing : I’ve linked the one that was used in my hospital where I gave birth. It has 2 motions – cradle as well as swing to suit your baby’s moods.

Swaddle Blanket : I personally love the one’s from Aden and Anais. They are soft, breathable and comes in various cute patterns.

White noise machine/Shusher : I came across this one during Kiaan’s newborn shoot. The photographer was using it to soothe him to sleep and boy did it work? We immediately bought it πŸ˜„ It’s a must cuz you can even carry it on-the-go!

Sleep Sack : These are good because you should never put blankets in your baby’s crib/bassinet. They come in fabrics that are suitable for both summers or winters.

Baby Monitor : We use the one from Arlo since it is a video camera and super tiny to slide it in your handbag while on-the-go. Linked here is the audio version of baby monitors. It works just great.

Organic Cotton Protective Pillow : Apart from the homemade one’s that are filled with mustard seeds we used this pillow. It is designed to keep your baby’s head round.

Crib Sheets : Highly recommend organic cotton crib fitted sheets for added safety.
